Surrasa
Your stage of life. Your whole story. A plan shaped around you.
Whole-Person Care for Reproductive Transitions
Preparing for pregnancy, understanding your menstrual patterns, and finding your footing after childbirth each bring different questions. This six-session program with Dr. Usha Nagavarapu gives you space to explore your experience and build a practical plan for nourishment, rest, skin and scalp care, and mind-body balance.
We begin with you: your constitution, reproductive history, daily routines, food preferences, emotional landscape, and the support available in your life. Ayurveda’s holistic, root-cause perspective connects these patterns rather than treating your skin, digestion, energy, and emotions as unrelated concerns.
Dr. Usha brings a background in pharmacology, skin science, and scientific research to her Ayurvedic practice. Her approach combines scientific inquiry with traditional wisdom, translating thoughtful assessment into food guidance, purposeful product choices, and daily practices that fit your actual life.
Three Starting Points, One Individualized Program
You do not follow three separate regimens. Your current stage determines the focus of your consultations.
- Preconception well-being: explore nourishment, daily rhythms, rest, stress, and the routines you want to establish while preparing for pregnancy. The focus is your well-being and preparation, without promising conception or a particular reproductive outcome.
- Menstrual and reproductive wellness: explore your cycle experience alongside appetite, digestion, energy, mood, sleep, and skin. Develop practical routines around the patterns and priorities you bring to the conversation.
- Postpartum nourishment and self-care: make room for your needs while caring for a baby. Explore approachable meals, hydration, changing skin and scalp experiences, emotional well-being, shared caregiving, and realistic opportunities for rest.
Perimenopause and menopause have their own separate Surrasa program, allowing this offering to stay focused on preconception, menstrual wellness, and postpartum life.
The Ayurvedic Foundation
Prakruti, your innate constitution, and Vikruti, your current patterns of imbalance in the Ayurvedic framework, help shape the conversation. Agni, the digestive and transformative fire, guides exploration of nourishment. Prana, vital life energy, brings breathing and daily rhythm into focus. Ojas, traditionally understood as vital essence, provides a perspective on nourishment, restoration, and resilience.
These concepts become practical choices: meals you can prepare, care rituals you enjoy, breathing practices that feel comfortable, and routines that leave room for changing needs.

Your Six-Session Journey
- Session 1: Understand your story. Explore your constitution, stage of life, reproductive history, current care, routines, and priorities. Agree on the areas you want to focus on together.
- Session 2: Build your nourishment foundation. Shape meals, recipes, hydration, and preparation habits around your preferences, digestion, available time, and support.
- Session 3: Make space for mind and rest. Explore your emotional experience, everyday demands, comfortable breathing, and realistic opportunities for restoration.
- Session 4: Personalize skin, scalp, and body care. Review your current products and changing preferences. Develop manageable topical routines and appropriate self-guided care practices.
- Session 5: Make the plan work in daily life. Review what feels useful and what needs to change. Refine your routines around your cycle, responsibilities, or postpartum caregiving arrangements.
- Session 6: Bring your guidance together. Review your experience and complete your Customized Routine Card with clear priorities and next steps.
This journey is a flexible framework, not a fixed protocol. The emphasis and pace adapt to your stage and the conversations you have with Dr. Usha.
Your Customized Routine Card
Your consultation report ends with one clear reference for inside-out care: what you eat, what you apply, and the daily practices you choose. Your card is individualized rather than a standard regimen for everyone in the program.
- Nourishment and beverages: meal rhythms, hydration, recipes, and practical preparation notes. Any botanical beverage or blend is considered individually.
- Facial care: a simple cleansing and moisturizing sequence, with optional product links selected for your skin experience and preferences.
- Body and scalp care: relevant self-guided practices, selected topical options, and their directions for your own care.
- Daily practices: manageable breathing, mindful pauses, rest opportunities, and household support arrangements. Postpartum guidance works around life with a baby rather than assuming an uninterrupted schedule.
Optional Product Rituals
Product choices follow the consultation, not the other way around. Many Surrasa products can be individually personalized. We consider your stage, sensitivities, preferences, medications, supplements, and current care before discussing an existing product or personalized option.
- For dry-feeling skin: Santi Calming Moisturizer (Dry Skin), to nourish and comfort skin that feels dry or tight.
- An alternative for sensitive-feeling skin: Santi Calming Moisturizer (Sensitive Skin), for gentle nourishment and lasting hydration.
- For a scalp-care ritual: Amara Invigorating Rosemary Hair and Scalp Oil, for nourishing scalp care and soft, lustrous-looking hair.
These are options for individual discussion, not a recommendation to purchase all three. Pregnancy and breastfeeding require individual consideration of ingredients and current care; these links are not a blanket recommendation for either stage. Follow each selected product’s directions and precautions. Product suggestions are for you, not your baby.
Care Alongside Your Existing Support
Share your pregnancy or breastfeeding status, fertility medications, supplements, and prescribed care during your consultation. This allows botanical and self-care discussions to reflect your circumstances. Infant feeding and infant health decisions remain with your baby’s pediatric or qualified feeding-care team; this program does not provide infant herbal or supplement regimens.
Investment and Flexible Appointments
$650 for the complete six-session program. This includes 3½ hours of individual consultation time, personalized preparation, educational resources, and your Customized Routine Card.
Products are optional and purchased separately. No ready-made products, personalized products, or herbal blends are included in the package price.
Book your initial 60-minute consultation, then arrange the five 30-minute follow-ups together as the program progresses. You do not need to choose every date upfront.
If you have already paid by invoice, Zelle, in the office, or online, arrange your remaining appointments with Surrasa rather than purchasing the package again. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
